"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world...Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels'...And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:31-34,41,46

To be in right relationship with God, we must...
-Acknowledge our personal sinfulness and confess our sin to God
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. " 1 John 1:9
-Repent and believe upon Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior
"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame". Romans 10:9-11
IF you genuinely chose to accept the gift of eternal life though Jesus, John 17:3 says that you now have eternal life. This is not just a ticket to Heaven or a get out of Hell free card. You have entered into a personal relationship with the God of the Universe. You have moved from being spiritually dead to being alive and connected to God (Ephesians 2). You are now a child of God, adopted and chosen (Ephesians 1:4-5; Romans 8:14-15). You are free from the guilt and eternal punishment of sin, but you may still be entangled in it and be bearing the worldly consequences (2 Corinthians 5:21). 1 Corinthians 2:22 says that the Holy Spirit of God indwells in you; he will guide you and confirm the truths of God. You have a mission to abide with God (John 15) and to follow in the footsteps of Jesus sharing this new hope that you have with anyone that will hear (Matthew 28:16-20). Jesus will return soon and he desires that people would not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
You are sent on mission. Abide in God through prayer, fasting and applying his Word from the bible. Be committed to a local church whose mission is to make disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus.
