Who we are
Michael and Melissa were called into full-time vocational ministry in December of 2012 while on a short-term mission trip to Southeast Asia. Melissa was called to salvation in a personal relationship with Jesus in 1997. In the Fall of 2011, Michael became a follower of Jesus through Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO.
Michael and Melissa married and worked with Cru in Southwest Missouri for 2.5 years. Their focus was university evangelism and discipleship. They are thankful for the faithful people that modeled ministry for them, helping nurture their passion for fulfilling God’s call to be spiritual multipliers. Through international mission trips, God continued to call them to reach the nations.
In 2016, Michael and Melissa were commissioned by their church and the International Mission Board and sent to Southeast Asia. Their focus was evangelizing the lost, discipling believers, and growing God’s Church.
In 2018, the Lord led Michael and Melissa to return to the U.S to mobilize the Church. God grew their family. Michael served through a local church as a pastor for 2.5 years until moving to Saint Louis for a new ministry role.
The Lord continued to call Michael and Melissa to the disciple making/church planting model found in Jesus' ministry and the Book of Acts in the Bible.
To The End was founded in February 2022 by Michael and Melissa, through the support of MBC churches, associations, and individuals. Since then, their support team has grown steadily.
This 501(c)3 non-profit ministry focuses on evangelizing the lost, discipling believers, and mobilizing the Church to make biblical disciples of Jesus.
Michael and Melissa always plan to be lifelong learners. Melissa is 75% through completing her Master of Theological studies in missions at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Michael earned his MTS in missions from Midwestern in 2019 and will graduate with his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist May 2025.
